Climax
A popular brand with collectors, specifically their uniquely styled Emerald and Ruby models. From what is understood, the Climax brand was another Chicago creation along with Silver and General Television, among others. It is difficult to say exactly who made the brand, as there seems to be more than a casual redundancy between Silver and Climax models with their respective tube line ups as well as cabinet designs. Climax and Silver are both known for their use of what collectors have come to label the "Angry Face" dials. Climax and General Television went on to merge with some models, becoming nearly indistinguishable from one another other than obvious tags and labels. See Climax listings and General Television #1 in "Unknown" listings.
