Emerson

One of the larger and more recognizable radio manufacturers with a long and interesting product line. During the early 30's, Emerson began a long association with Ingraham Cabinet in Bristol CT for their wooden cabinets. Many examples remain as striking cabinet design and construction examples surrounding what is often thought of as merely "adequate" radios. Ingraham had a knack of using interesting veneer choices coupled with curved surfaces that still interest collectors today. Emerson Radio has become nearly synonomous with Ingraham Cabinet, as there aren't many other radio brands (proven) that also utilized Ingraham Cabinets.
