This radio is a "toaster" style with closed back and vents on the sides. I was attracted to the beautiful back-lit dial and smooth tuning mechanism. As found, there was no dial cover but there were some tacks on the periphery inside the dial opening so I guessed that the original had a dial cover. The new dial cover is shown installed. I replaced the grill cloth and now to find some original knobs... |
