This is not the Tele-Tone Company of the forties from New York, but a rather small and obscure maker of radios in California. It is a little known fact, that in the thirties and forties, there were fifty or so makers of radios on the west coast. Because of the distances and the cost of freight, these factories made sets for stores west of the Rockies, and a few were national in distribution, such as Packard Bell. |
