Aetna Radios were the house brand for the Walgreen drugstore chain in the 1930s. Walgreen, like many of the major retailers, contracted their models from a large pool of nationally recognizable makers. This particular radio most likely made for them by Detrola Radio, which made a highly similar model in their own line. |
