Farm radio; made in Holland. Superheterodyne BC, 1.8-18MHz. Bat 1.5V/90V. Excellent distance; compact size. Philips acquired control of Rogers-Majestic around WWII, so post war a lot of the R-M sets were electronically very European but used, mostly, North American tube types. The styling varied from conventional NA to Swedish modern. This set was manufactured in Holland and simply branded with Rogers-Majestic. Curious that it has a Union Sticker on the back when the labour here was minimal. |
