| The REAL Sparton Model 506 is a small wooden mantle radio. This set is not well known as the 506 is largely thought to be the Bluebird. The 506 was released in mid-1935 for the 1936 model year while the Bluebird was not released until September. It does use the same basic chassis as the Bluebird and the 594, a 1934 model. |
