| This is an unusual model as Silvertone 6493 is a radio in a bookcase but they put the chassis into a 6424 cabinet and made it a table top. They must have had more chassis then they had customers for the bookcase model so this is what came out. I have included a picture of the factory sticker as proof. The chassis is slightly different and so is the dial face (specifically the police band markings). |
