AK model 40 inside a Superior Radio Cabinet.
The cabinet was manufactured in Muskegon about 1928 and was perhaps made for this model. Upon inspection it is noticed that the facing panel could be easily removed and replaced with different panel for different radio. The panel on the rear indicates that it was purchased at Kern's Dept. Store in Detroit. In 1929 Sears shut down the plant in Muskegon. |
